Help us build on the festival’s PREVIOUS success

Since it began in 2000 The Freedom Community Festival has won the hearts and minds of thousands of people throughout Plymouth and with each year it gets better. However, the event CANNOT happen without the all of the supporters, fundraisers, performers, volunteers, traders and sponsors who generously give their time and money to this amazing FREE event each year.

There are a few ways that you can get involved with the festival from volunteering as a steward or clean up crew, be a performer,  a trader,  a sponsor or simply make a donation. Make a Donation

We need your help! The organisers are busy planning this year’s event and it’s all going great, except one thing. We currently do not have enough funding in place to put this year’s festival on. However, we have faith in festival fans like yourself and the community to help us out. We now have a Crowdfunder campaign so if you can give any donation you can then it will go a long way to ensure this year’s event goes ahead.  If you have already donated, thanks, we are extremely grateful and love you so much. Every penny donated to The Freedom Community Festival will be used toward the general running costs of putting on this free event and any raised funds remaining after the event will go toward the growth and development of next year’s festival.

Be a  Trader

We strive to give the festival a fun, relaxed family friendly atmosphere that attracts a wide range of people from across Plymouth and beyond. To reflect this we aim to provide a diverse choice of food and non-food stalls for our festival goers.

Become a volunteer

We are now recruiting for our volunteer team to work at this year’s festival.

All our volunteers will have free food and drink and the chance to work in a great atmosphere with a team of fun, like-minded people. There are no specific roles this year and we will try and give you as much variety in different roles as possible to make it a more enjoyable experience.  By supporting The Freedom Community Festival, you can help us build on the festival’s success, and grow to establish it as a crucial and important event in Plymouth.
