Mad Dog Mcrea close out this years festival headlining the Freedom stage at 7 pm on Sunday 2nd June.

Mad Dog Mcrea are a band that needs no introduction. Firmly established on the live music scene, and they are in huge demand from festivals, live music venues and traffic wardens across the UK. 

Mad Dog Mcrea are: Michael Mathieson – Guitar/Vocals, Dan Crimp – Whistles/Flute, Jon, Stopporton – Bass, Dave Podmore – Bouzouki/Banjo, Alex Beal – Drums, Nicki Powell – Fiddle.

The six-piece folk band lift feet and start parties wherever they play with their dance-demanding recipe of folk, pop, rock, jazz and bluegrass. Whisking up whistles, fiddles and mandolins to spectacular and infectious effect, these musical magicians are synonymous not only with a damn good party but also with quality musicianship and the odd surprise.
