,The Andy Quick Band take to the Freedom Stage at 6 pm on Sunday 2nd June.

Andy is a multifaceted songwriter renowned for being the front man of popular band Land of The Giants. The Andy quick Band formed in Sept 2016 in a Devonshire living room. Here, Andy joins forces with longtime collaborator Josie Boucharde on bass, mesmerising synth meister Martin Jenkins and laid back funkenstein Jackal Rosewarne-Hebb on drums.

Musically they are impossible to pin down. As with Land Of The Giants this, Andy’s live show has evolved into a fascinating mash-up of beats and styles. This band is tight and the hype is growing. Andy has a unique voice and a knack for a catchy chorus. Andy confesses he’s ” obsessed with songwriting” and it shows. Crafting tunes that are packed with big riffs and playful lyricism. Their latest online single releases ‘5 less’ and the anthemic ‘sugar’ suggest 2018 will be another banger.

They hit the ground running with a highly original debut Album ‘The Way Things Are’ recorded at the infamous Middle Farm Studio.

The bands first single ‘Liberation’ a ”throbbing, euphoric masterpiece” impressed Songwriting
Magazine who crowned it ‘song of the day’. Cue a 14 date tour in the Spring where the band hit form, landing them slots at some of the best UK festivals of the summer including Glastonbury, Port Elliot and Sunrise Celebration.

Their Debut album ‘The Way Things Are’ is OUT NOW to stream, download and own forever on CD.

The band have been in the studio recently recording their second album which is due for release soon, so keep a look out for that.
