The Roz Birch Band

3:30 pm sees soulful songstress Roz Birch take to the Freedom Stage on Saturday to deliver what promises to be a powerful and mesmerizing set. Her recent EP ‘Precious Gifts’, was released in November 2017, blending soul, blues, funk, and reggae. Roz describes it as a soul-searching exploration of our place in the world and how relationships transform us.

Usually known on the local music scene for her incredible vocal tones and piano skills she collaborated with many talented local musicians for the EP to create a unique sound that truly showcases her musical vision.

And so, ‘The Roz Birch Band’ was born.

Local music blogger, ‘Listen with Monger’ says of her EP – “ it’s that voice that gives us hope in the darkest hour as that soul oozes into every gap like honey on a waffle.”
